Lisa Wiseman

Registered Veterinary Nurse & Practice Manager

Lisa has been with Vets On Eyre since their beginnings in 2012 when she re-entered the veterinary industry in a nursing role, after an extensive break raising her family and helping to run her and husband, Michael’s, farm.

As the business grew, Lisa entered the role of Practice Manager in 2014, and in 2016 she became a partner in the business with Greg Sezun.

She loves all aspects of her job, from the daily running of the business, stepping in and nursing when needed and interacting with all the clients and their pets. She also has huge respect for and adores working alongside her team mates to provide a high level of veterinary care and support to the animals of the Eyre Peninsula.

In her spare time, she enjoys riding and hanging out with her horses Okie, Ben and Tater learning the sport of Reining and helping with the cattle work on the farm.  She also spends as much time as possible with her beloved pooches Molly, Remi & Mani. Her farmyard menagerie also includes cats Martin, Streety, Winnie and Cinder Kit-Kit, Ralf the cockatiel, and magpies Eileen and Angry Bird.

Tabitha

Clinic Cat (Customer Service Manager)

Tabitha is also a stray that ‘adopted us’ when she was found and brought in with a sore leg. She is the smoochiest cat and wants to cuddles from anyone and everyone who walks in the door, 2 or 4 legged. If you get out of your chair she thinks you’ve warmed it up for her!

Dennis

Clinic Cat (Podiatrist (snuffling & rubbing patients feet))

Dennis was 6 weeks old when we adopted him. We couldn’t decide on a name so we decided to do a ‘Name our clinic cat’ competition. One of our lovely customers chose Dennis the Menace – purr-fect!

He is such a cheeky cat and thinks he owns the clinic. Dennis can be found warming up patients cages when they are out for procedures. He also likes to help comfort patients with cuddles regularly.

Lenny

Practice Mascot (Playing freeze)

Lenny, our bearded dragon, came into the clinic from Pet Stock with an injured foot, he’d had a disagreement with another lizard. We decided to keep him. He loves to keep an eye on all of the comings and goings in the clinic and is also a constant source of entertainment for children and cats Dennis and Tabitha.
